Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric water boiler which can precisely detect a dry heating state of heating a vessel containing no liquid.
SOLUTION: When the heating of liquid in a vessel 1 is started, a current is carried to heating means 2, and setting means 8 determines a comparison value by the input of temperature detecting means 3 for detecting the liquid temperature in the vessel, thereafter compares with the time required for the unit temperature rise counted by measuring means 7 with the comparison value, and stops the heating when the unit temperature rise time becomes shorter, whereby a dry heating is quickly detected to prevent the discoloring of the vessel.
