PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and simply set a target value of power usage regardless a day of the week or the like.SOLUTION: An electric energy monitoring device comprises: a measurement unit 11 for measuring power consumption; a storage unit 12 for storing power usage measured by the measurement unit 11; target value setting means 13 for setting a target value of electric energy which can be used in a day from a high-order value among values of days of the same month in the last year stored in the storage unit 12; prediction means 14 for predicting power usage in a day on the basis of the electric energy measured by the measurement unit 11; and signal output means 16 for outputting a signal when it is determined that the power usage predicted by the prediction means 14 exceeds the target value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
