Abstract:

To provide an electric fan capable of increasing the quantity of an airflow and cooling a motor and a brush mechanism sufficiently and to provide a vacuum cleaner equipped with this electric fan.

This electric fan is provided with a centrifugal fan, a fan cover storing the centrifugal fan and a streamlining plate, a cylindrical motor housing provided with the fan cover attached to its one end to make airflow from the streamlining plate flow into it, and the motor stored in the motor housing. An iron core having substantially rectangular shape of the motor is supported by two supporting parts provided by protruding from the inner periphery of the motor housing opposingly. The vacuum cleaner is provided with this electric fan.
