To provide a dynamically balanced electric fan having a pair of impeller units and capable of reducing vibration generated during operation.
This electric fan includes a motor unit of which axial center projects to both right and left directions; the pair of impeller units which back on each other and are respectively arranged at both ends of the axial center of the motor unit projecting to the both right and left directions so as to send air outwardly in right and left directions in the same rotational direction by the motor unit; and a base mechanism supporting the motor unit from below such that the motor unit can flatly reciprocate. The electric fan is also provided with a support mechanism which comprises a support shaft projecting upwardly from the base mechanism and rotatably and flatly mounted on the base mechanism and a fixation plate supported from below by the support shaft and supporting several points around the center of gravity of the motor unit from below in a balanced manner. The motor unit is supported from below by the base mechanism via the support mechanism.
