A card 40 includes: a card storage section, wherein information showing an authenticated state of a user 60 holding the card 40 is stored; and a card communication section which uses an electric field to transmit and receive information. A notification device 20 includes an antenna 22, by using an electric field to receive information showing the authenticated state from the card 40 and a control section for making an output section 23 output the output contents corresponding to information indicated by the authenticated state.
