To provide an electric furnace device that is constituted to quickly cool the inside of the main body of its furnace without lowering the adiabatic efficiency in the main body and to control the temperatures of baked ceramic art products without spending dead time at the time taking out or cooling the products and, in addition, to be compact in constitution and to meet the need of space saving.

This electric furnace device has a cooling means 70 which cools the inside of the main body 11 of the furnace by radiating the heat in the main body 11 to the outside through a heater unit 30 at the time of cooling the inside of the main body 11. The means 70 is constituted by movably positioning a heat-conductive member 71 with respect to the terminal 32 of the heater unit 30 which is extruded to the outer shell side of the main body 11 from a heat insulating material 15 constituting the internal wall surface of the main body 11 so that the member 71 may move to a heat radiating position at which the member 71 comes into contact with the terminal 32 and a standby position at which the member 71 is separated from the terminal 32.
