Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of improving the efficiency of the fusion wort by enabling a plurality of electric fusion joints to simultaneously fuse with mainly one fusion control device.SOLUTION: An electric fusion device 3 comprises: a fusion control device 8 for supplying the electric power for fusion to an electric fusion joint 4; and an electric power supply cable 9 connectable between the fusion control device 8 and the electric fusion joint 4. The fusion control device 8 or the electric power supply cable 9 includes an addition connection 13 capable of connecting a different electric fusion joint 12 via an addition cable 11. The fusion control device 8 also includes an addition cable detector capable of detecting the addition cable 11 connected to the addition connection 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
