Title:
ELECTRIC HOT AIR SNOW MELTING APPLIANCE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH07268802
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce weight and cost by providing a hot air supply unit, a main body case which is mounted therewith, an air supply nozzle which supplies air and a cover unit which covers the main body case and forming a handle with a vertical wall section, a knob, a mounting face and an overhanging section.

CONSTITUTION: A fan 20 and a heater 23 are energized by turning off a switch. The fan 20 is driven so as to suck up cooled air from a cooled air suction nozzle 9 so that the cooled air may advance in the inhaling direction marked with an arrow (a). Then, the direction of the cooled air is changed in the fan 20 so that the cooled air may be blown off at heat emission fins 22 of a heater 23. A hot air (b) heated with the heat emission fins 22 is discharged from outlets 10 and 11 by way of a hollow section in an air supply nozzle 7, thereby heating a base rail 1 or a tongue rail 2 and melting snow. A mounting section of the fan 20 is designed to be triple-walled so as to reinforce the risidity of the mounting section. This construction makes it possible to reduce cost and weight, and what is more, prevent the deformation of a base part 8 or a mounting board 15 in simple structure.
