PURPOSE: To provide an electric hot water heater which is capable of making effective use of a dead space of a house or the like so as to install a hot water storage section and facilitating the maintenance or operability of required sites by enabling a hot water storage section of a hot water storage type electric heater and a boiling section and control section which exclude said hot water storage section to be mounted individually in structure.

CONSTITUTION: A hot water storage tank 1 is in charge of a hot water storage function alone and not responsible for other special functions. A boiling up section 2 is integrally formed in such a fashion that it may comprise an electric heater 3 to heat up city water W and a control section 4 of hot water temperature and quantities. A hot water supply section 5 is connected with a bath tub 6 in a bath room and each hot water faucet 7 of a kitchen and a wash-stand by way of piping. This construction makes it possible to install the hot water storage tank 1 which does not call for any specific maintenance but demands for a large space to a dead space SD which is not exposed from a housing point of view whereas it makes it possible to install the tank 1 to an effective space SD for a housing site which is easy to exchange/ maintain and operate the boiling up section 2 which calls for maintenance or operability. It is, therefore, possible to make effective use of each housing space.
