Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain an electric-hydraulic servo device having high linearity and high responseiveness with a low cost by using a pulse modulated current to drive a poppet valve type solenoid valve. CONSTITUTION:An electric-hydraulic servo device is constituted with a driving device using the hydraulic pressure to a power source. This servo device detects the displacement of said driving device and then feeds back the detected displacement for position control. A cylinder 5 containing two chambers to drive the load is connected to a hydraulic pressure source 4 via two pairs of poppet type solenoid valves 8-11. These valves 8-11 are driven with control to drive a piston 12 in the cylinder 5 up to a desired position. The control of said solenoid valves 8-11 are carried out by a pulse modulated driving current as shown by codes (d) and (e) in the diagram.
