To provide an electric junction box and assembling method thereof, capable of preventing a wire harness from hanging, to protect a wire harness or a connector from being damaged.
A box body 12 in which a circuit unit 24 is mounted is provided with a temporary fitting part 27 for temporarily and detachably fitting one connector connected to the wire harness. When mounting the circuit unit 24 to the box body 12, one connector is detached from the temporary fitting part 27 and connected to the other connector provided to the circuit unit 24. The temporary fitting part 27 is provided to a wall part 20 of the box body 12 defining a housing space 18 of the circuit unit 24. When the circuit unit 24 is housed in the housing space 18, the temporary fitting part 27 is positioned between the wall part 20 of the box body 12 and the circuit unit 24.
