Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric kettle which includes a pour-out passage and a pour-out passage opening/closing mechanism provided in a lid body, without being bulky, which can make a residual quantity small, and which has a high bulk ratio.SOLUTION: A lid body 5 is provided with an attachment/detachment mechanism 12 which makes engaging members on right and left sides in a view from a pour-out port 17 elastically engaged with the right and left sides of a kettle body 4 so that an inner vessel 2 can be locked to a closing position to close via a seal member 21 and which releases this locked state by a holding operation. The attachment/detachment mechanism is provided between an opening/closing mechanism 7 and a steam passage 8 of the lid body, and an operation piece for operating the attachment/detachment mechanism is provided in such a manner as to be arranged below a top surface of the lid body.
