At a location where an induction line 20 is surely within a laid range, a transmission coil 10 is placed, and at a location where the induction line 20 is surely out of the laid range, a reception coil 11 is placed so as to make contact with the outer surface of a rail 8. Then, as fixing the transmission coil 10, the reception coil 11 is gradually made to approach to the transmission coil 10 direction. If the reception coil 11 invades in the laid range of the induction line 20, an induction current is induced in the reception coil 11 by an induction current induced by the transmission coil 10 in the induction line 20 and strengthened by a magnetic steel plate 21, the induction current is detected with an induction current detection circuit 25, an induction line detection indication lump 14 and an induction line detection buzzer 17 operate, and the location above the rail 8 of the reception coil 11 is recognized as the end of the laid range of the induction line 20.
