To construct an electric lock system without use of in-door piping-wiring and power supply fittings, and to provide the electric lock system advantageous in terms of beauty and burglarproof performance.

This electric lock system comprises a strike 7 which is provided on the door end-side end surface 12 of a door body 1, an electric lock body 8 which is provided in a door end-side jamb 4, and electric wiring W which is elongated along the door end-side jamb 4. The electric lock body 8 is equipped with a dead bolt 80 which is engaged with/disengaged from the strike 7 in an electrically-operated manner, and a cylinder 81 for manually engaging/disengaging the dead bolt 80 with/from the strike 7. A vertically-long cover body 6 elongated throughout the height of the door body 1 is rotatably and/or detachably provided on the outdoor side of the door end-side jamb 4, so as to conceal the cylinder lock 81, prevent the mounting position of the cylinder lock 81 from being specified from the outdoor side and inhibit access to a keyhole of the cylinder lock 81.
