To allow an electric magnetic element to have a structure for preventing or suppressing an eddy current loss inside a conductive line constituting a planar coil.
The electric magnetic element includes a planar coil 17 having a curved or bent planar shape, so as to allow the side surfaces of one conductive line 12, where at least the lower surface is flat, to come close to each other. A magnetic layer 13 is arranged in the conductive line 12 of the planar coil 17. Specifically, the magnetic layer 13 is formed to contact with the two respective side surfaces which come close to each other and are at least a portion of the side surfaces of the conductive line 12 within the longitudinally circumferential and outer peripheral surfaces of the conductive line 12.
