In the electric motor, bus bar terminals 16a-16c and 17a-19a having slit portions 106a-106c and 107a-109a each having an opening for engaging the end of the coil are integrally formed on the bus bars 16-19. The bus bar terminals 16a-16c and 17a-19a are disposed so that the opening directions of the slit portions 106a-106c and 107a-109a can follow the same arc (a).
