Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an economical, highly reliable, small-sized and light weight electronic protective device for motor from ultra excessive high-temperature condition, which can also be used for an AC line-to-line voltage of various voltage values. CONSTITUTION: An integrated circuit 24 supplies a DC voltage to a relay coil K1, by charging a capacitor with the positive half cycle of a line-to-line voltage period in a power supply 12 and a dropped DC voltage obtained through voltage drop means R28, ZD1 is supplied to a control circuit mechanism, the relay coil K1 is de-biased to release contacts M1, M2 in view of de-biasing of a motor. A control mechanism includes optional functions 20, 24 for re-biasing and low- voltage protection. A device is held by a circuit unit and is surrounded by embedding material for locking of the housing to have vibrational resistance and also includes a function for preventing erroneous wiring to the DC voltage terminal of the line-to-line voltage.
