Abstract:
To provide an electric motor and an electric generator in which strict current control is carried out, by PWM control of an electronic control unit.SOLUTION: An electric motor includes a stator having two coil sets 60 placed to generate a magnetic field of a motor 40, and two control arrangements 64, a first control arrangement is connected with multiple coil subsets of a first coil set, a second control arrangement is connected with multiple coil subsets of a second coil set, the control arrangements 64 are configured to control the currents of the multiple coil subsets, respectively, and in each coil set, each coil subset is caused to generate a magnetic phase substantially different from that of one or a plurality of other coil subsets, where the first and second control arrangements are mounted adjacently to the stator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
