Abstract:

PURPOSE: To arrange a suction passage and a discharge passage to both pumps in end members completely related to each other by supplying fluid to both cartridges in parallel and by connecting to the both pumping operating cavities in parallel.
CONSTITUTION: An electric-motor in-line integrated hydraulic pump is provided with a pump housing 12 having a pair of end members 14, 16 on both ends of the housing 12. An electric motor 20 is provided with a rotor 22 on a shaft 24 supported between the end members 14, 16, and a stator 30 surrounding the rotor 22 in the housing 12. First and second cartridges 44, 46 are integrally formed with the end member 16. A vane 50 defines a pumping cavity between a cam ring 52 and the rotor 48. A vane pump suction passage in the end surface member 16 supplies fluid in the housing 12 to both cartridges 44, 46 in parallel, and a discharge passage is connected to both pumping cavities in parallel.
