Abstract:
The invention provides a motor-operated valve capable of performing an alignment of a female screw member in respect to a valve housing in a high precise manner without using any jig, attaining an efficient assembling work and restricting its manufacturing cost without producing any pressure loss when fluid is flowed in a flow passage. This invention relates to a motor-operated valve consisting atleast of a valve housing having; a female screw member; a male screw member; a valve element; and a press-fitting part which is press fitted into the valve housing to perform alignment of the valve element in respect to the valve housing. The female screw member has a flange part formed circumferentially at the upper portion of the press-fitting part. When the female screw member is press-fittedinto the valve housing, the flange part abuts against and is supported to the above end portion of the valve housing, and, in the female screw member, a first stepped part having a smaller diameter than the press-fitting part is formed circumferentially between the press-fitting part and the flange part. When the flange part abuts against and is supported to the above end portion of the valve housing, a gap is formed between the above end portion of the valve housing and the press-fitting part.
