To provide an electric mowing machine capable of forcibly stopping a rotary blade, and the like, even when electric power supplied to a motor is shielded, and of having higher safety.
A controller 20 of an electric mowing machine 1 is constituted of a motor driving part 30, a control motion part 31, a control electric source part 32 and an electric source-connecting and detecting part 33. The control electric source part 32 is a circuit for generating a signal voltage (5V) for functionalizing the control motion part 31 and installs an electrolytic capacitor 40 and a diode 41, on inlet side of a 3 terminal regulator 37. When a battery 21 of an electric source part 7 is dropped out, electric charge stored in the electrolytic capacitor 40 is released, and a signal voltage which is not lower than a prescribed value is kept and the control motion part 31 keeps a functionable state. When a forced stop switch 18 is operated during this time zone, a motor 2 is short-braked, and a rotary blade 11 is forcibly stopped.
