Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric parking brake device capable of suppressing enlargement of a motor.SOLUTION: An electric actuator 12 includes a motor 30 for generating rotational force during driving, and a speed reduction mechanism 42 having an output shaft 48 for outputting the rotational force generated by the motor 30. A movable mechanism is operated by the rotational force output by the output shaft 48, and moves a brake shoe to a brake position in which brake force is generated when the output shaft 48 rotates normally, and moves the brake shoe to a release position in which the brake force is not generated when the output shaft 48 rotates reversely. In the electric actuator 12, a clutch 50 is provided between the motor 30 and the speed reduction mechanism 42 so as to prevent reverse rotation of the output shaft 48 when the motor 30 is not driven.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
