This electric power securing device has a leakage diagnosing means for detecting leakage of the evaporated fuel from the inside of the evaporated fuel processing system 100 when stopping the engine 1, the battery for supplying electric power to an apparatus used for diagnosing the leakage, a charging quantity estimating means for estimating the charging quantity charged to the battery, and a determining means for determining the possibility of the performance of the diagnosis of the leakage by comparing the estimated charging quantity with a preset predetermined value.
