Abstract:
To make a projection of a motor against an operation shaft, to enhance the maximum transmission torque and a transmission efficiency of a rotation force of the motor and to further reduce a generation of a noise caused by a speed reducer.
The electric power steering device is provided with a rotation shaft such as an output shaft 3 or the like rotating corresponding to steering of a steering wheel A; a steering assist motor 5 arranged around the rotation shaft; and a rolling ball type differential speed reducer 6 for transmitting a rotation force of the motor to the rotation shaft. The rolling ball type differential speed reducer 6, the motor 5 and the rotation shaft are coaxially arranged.
