Title:
ELECTRIC POWER STEERING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3884236
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce uncomfortable noise and vibration in a cabin without impairing a steering feeling.
SOLUTION: In a gain computing part 75a, a gain G is computed on the basis of a vehicle velocity absolute value &verbar V&verbar . In a cutoff frequency computing part 75b, a reference valve fc1 of a cutoff frequency is computed on the basis of a steering velocity absolute valve &verbar ω&verbar . In an attenuation processing part 75c, a target electric current command value IA is computed from a temporary value IA' of the target electric current by low-pass filter processing including a differential operation S. That is, a low frequency noise, which cannot be sufficiently removed by an attenuation means in the previous step, is removed from the target electric current temporary value IA' by this attenuation means 2 (75), and the target electric current temporary value IA' is outputted as the target electric current command value IA. The shape of each graph used in the gain computing part 75a and the cutoff frequency computing part 75b has a margin for tuning by more actual specification of the motor, a driving system of the motor, a vehicle type for installation, a user type and the like and can be determined empirically.
