Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an electric-power supply apparatus which is not affected by a fluctuation in a voltage on the side of a power supply, which is not affected by a change in the characteristic of a load such as a flash tube or the like and by which the current of the flash tube is controlled to a set value.
CONSTITUTION: An electric-power supply apparatus is provided with a plurality of chopper circuits which are composed of switching elements 2A, 2B, of reactors 3A, 3B and of diodes 4A, 4B and with current control parts 36, 37, 38, 39 which pulse-width-modulate and control the respective chopper circuits. A phase difference is set in clocks RA, RB of an oscillation circuit 37, and a phase difference is set in a modulation cycle. In addition, sawtooth waves DA, DB which are changed within the modulation cycle are added from dither circuits 38A, 38B, and a pulse width is modulated stably.
