Abstract:
To provide an electric power supply system for an elevator capable of eliminating the number of tail cords for directly supplying electric power to a car, and capable of generating electric power in large capacity.
The electric power supply system for the elevator is provided with the car 16 traveling along a hoistway 16a, and sheaves 17 and 18 attached to the car 16 and to which a rope 25 is hung. A generator 22 is connected to the sheave 17, and the electric power generated by the generator 22 is stored in a battery 23. The electric power in the battery 23 is sent to the car 16 through a distributor 24.
