Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a prescribed voltage by a simple circuit, by adding two switches to a full-wave rectifying and smoothing circuit, and switching and controlling them. CONSTITUTION:AC input terminals 1, 2 are connected to the primary winding of a transformer 3, and both ends of the secondary winding of the transformer 3 are connected to a pair of input terminals of a full-wave rectifying circuit 4. A series circuit of a switch 5 and a smoothing capacitor 6 is connected between a pair of output terinals of this rectifying circuit 4. Also, a switch 7 is connected between a connecting point of the switch 5 and the capacitor 6, and an intermediate tap of the secondary winding. The switches 5, 7 are switched and controlled so that when one is on, the other becomes off state, and vice versa, by which prescribed voltage is obtained. In this regard, it is also possible to use a diode or a transistor as the switch 7.
