This electric rice cooker includes the inner pot constituted of a multi-layer pot formed by superposing at least a metal material inducing an eddy current by an electromagnetic induction and other two or more metal materials and storing water and rice, a cooker body for extractably storing the inner pot, a lid body openably/closably covering an upper opening of the cooker body, and an electromagnetic induction heating means for heating the inner pot by inducing the eddy current to the inner pot, wherein the metal material layer inducing the eddy current by the electromagnetic induction is made of iron-aluminum-based alloy material and is formed by being disposed between the other metal material layers so as to improve the heating efficiency as much as possible and reduce the power consumption without lowering the rice cooking performance.
