An exclusive use impact driver, which is provided with a DC motor 5, a speed reducing gear 6, an impact mechanism part 7, and a bit mounting part 8, is provided with an adapter electrode 2 to be connected to a cigarette lighter socket of a vehicle on the tip side of a power source cable 1. When the adapter electrode 2 is held by a hand and inserted into the cigarette lighter socket, the electrode 2 can be locked by means of a locking means and electrically connected to a battery, a generator or the like on a vehicle side. A switch 4 switching the bit rotating direction in the normal/reverse direction is arranged on a driver main body 3, while varied sizes of bits can be applied in the bit mounting part 8.
