To provide an electric power tool which cools a brushless motor, and also controls dust of the brushless motor.
A fan 50 is fixed to a rotary shaft 35 in the neighborhood of the air discharge hole of a motor housing portion 21. A cover 60 is fixed so as to cover the end face of a stator 31 via an insulating member 92 by engaging the positioning projections of the insulating member 92 held by the stator 31 with the recessed portions of the cover 60, and is arranged between the end face of the stator 31 and the fan 50. The cover 60 is provided with a through-hole into which the rotary shaft 35 and the shaft portion of the fan 50 are inserted, and the through-hole has nearly the same diameter as that of the shaft portion of the fan 50.
