To provide an angle type power tool capable of assembling first and second bevel gears without damaging teeth of the gears.

The power tool comprises a first bevel gear to be driven by a motor, a second bevel gear to be engaged with the first bevel gear, a shaft to be rotated by the second bevel gear, and an angle shaped case 6 for housing these components. The case 6 is a metallic integrated structure having an opening part on the motor side and an opening part 6g on a fore end tool side. A first inside diameter part 32 having the diameter slightly larger than the outside diameter of a bearing, and a second inside diameter part 33 having the diameter slightly smaller than the outside diameter of the bearing are provided in the opening part 6g. The first bevel gear is inserted from the opening part on the motor side, and rotatably fitted to the case 6. The assembly of the shaft, the bevel gears and the bearing is inserted from the opening part 6g, and the bevel gears are positioned while inserting the bearing of the assembly in the first inside diameter part 32 through the running fit, and thereafter, the bearing is inserted in the second inside diameter part 33 through the shrink fitting.
