Title:
LEVER-TYPE CONNECTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3244028
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a lever by fitting a female side connector housing to a hood part of a male side connector housing which supports the lever rotatably and uniting a cam pin of the female side connector housing and a cam pin of a moving lever for engaging them with a cam groove of the lever.
SOLUTION: A moving plate 40 with a tab-positioning hole is inserted in a hood part 11 of a male side connector housing 10, and a cam pin 43 provided at the tip of a protruding piece 42 is fitted into a guide groove 12 of the hood part 11 and positioned in a receiving port 34A of a spiral-like cam groove 34 of a lever. A female side connector housing 20 is fitted to the hood part 11 from upper direction, and a cam pin 21 provided at its side face is engaged with a recessed part 44 of the cam pin 43 to have both the cam pins united. A lever 30 is then rotated clockwise around a supporting shaft 13, and the cam pins 21, 43 are pulled down via the cam groove 34 to connect both housings.
