To solve the following problem: when an electric vehicle is controlled according to a low-speed, low-torque command, the frequency command can stay at 0 and the electric vehicle cannot be accelerated sometimes.
Electric vehicle controller comprises a flux computing unit which computes the secondary flux of an induction machine from supply voltage and current; a speed computing unit which computes computed speed from the current and the secondary flux; a command computing unit which computes a current command for flux, a current command for torque, and a slip command from a flux command and a torque command; an adder which is fed with corrected speed and the slip command and outputs a frequency command; an integrator which is fed with the frequency command and outputs a flux phase angle; a coordinate transformer which is fed with the current and the flux phase angle and outputs a current for flux and a current for torque; a current controller which is fed with the current command for flux, current for flux, current command for torque, and current for torque, and outputs a voltage command; an amount-of-speed correction computing unit which is fed with the frequency command and the current and outputs an amount of speed correction; and a speed correction adder which is fed with the computed speed and the amount of speed correction and outputs the corrected speed.
