The electric vehicle controller has a power converter which is mounted on an electric vehicle and controls a motor for driving the electric vehicle, and the regenerative power storage means which temporally stores the regenerative power generated from the above power converter when an electric vehicle made a regenerative brake work. The above regenerative power storage means is housed in a device box which is insulated from the car body of the electric vehicle.
