Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vehicle and a power management device, when a user discharges a power stored in an electric vehicle for another purpose other than the electric vehicle, capable of returning money according to the amount of the power discharged, because the stored power has been subject to taxation already in charging.SOLUTION: When the electric vehicle is connected to a system power supply 31 via a smart meter 21, a charged amount measuring circuit 2 and a discharged amount measuring circuit 3 measure the charged/discharged amounts with respect to a battery 1. When being connected to the smart meter 21 capable of managing the taxation as a result of an authentication by an authentication circuit 5, a charge/discharge control circuit 4 notifies the smart meter 21 of the charge/discharge amounts of the battery 1, and when being connected to the smart meter 21 incapable of managing the taxation, the charge/discharge control circuit 4 stores the charge/discharge amounts of the battery 1 to a ROM 42 therein.
