Abstract:
To provide an electric washing machine capable of easily removing moisture from laundry containing the moisture without providing a high-cost member complicating a structure such as a drying instrument, and the operation control method.
A washing and dehydrating tub 6 is freely rotatably disposed inside an outer tub 2 supported inside an outer box 1 and an air intake port 16 is formed at a position higher than the upper end part of the washing and dehydrating tub 6. By rotating the washing and dehydrating tub 6, outdoor air is taken in from the air intake port 16, the taken-in outdoor air is brought into contact with the laundry 9 containing the moisture fed inside the washing and dehydrating tub 6 and the moisture is vaporized.
