PURPOSE: To eliminate the surplus or shortage of not-water supplying amount as well as heat dissipating loss by a method wherein a detecting means, detecting the temperature of lower part of a hot-water reserving tank, and a control means, controlling the timing of the detection, are provided in the device.
CONSTITUTION: The detecting means 2, detecting the temperature of lower part of a hot-water reserving tank 1, and the control means 3, controlling the timing of the detection, are provided. The control means 3 detects the conduction of a heater 4 and the temperature T1 of the lower part of the tank 1 is detected after some time period t1 has ben elapsed. The temperature T2 of the lower part of the tank 1 is detected again when a time period t2 has been elapsed after the detection of the temperature T1. The temperature T2 of the lower part of the tank upon conducting the heater 4 is obtained by operating by the temperatures T1, T2. On the other hand, a remaining hot-water amount V1 can be operated by a temperature difference between the temperatures T2, T1, a required time t2-t1 for producing the temperature difference and the output W of the heater. The volume V2 of water to be heated up can also be operated by the total capacity V of the hot-water reserving tank 1 and the amount V1 of remaining hot- water. According to this method, the heat dissipating loss and the run-off of hot-water may be eliminated.
