PURPOSE: To provide excellent wear resistance and flexibility for wire coating material in a thin wall condition by adding 0.5-30 pts.wt. tetrafluoroethylene resin fine powder to 100 pts.wt. polyvinyl chroride.
CONSTITUTION: Wire coating material formed by adding plasticizer to polyvinyl chroride is such that 0.5-30 pts.wt. tetrafluoroethylene resin fine powder is added to 100 pts.wt. polyvinyl chroride. For example, 35 pts.wt. DIDP (di.iso.decyl.phthalate), 5 pts.wt. tribasic lead sulfate as lead group stabilizer, 3 pts.wt. acryl group resin as assistant are added to 100 pts.wt. vinyl chroride resin (a polymerization degree of 1300) and then 5 pts.wt. tetrafluoroethylene resin fine powder is added thereto to manufacture insulating resin material, with which a core is coated at a thickness of 0.2mm to form an insulation coating wire. In this way, it has a low friction coefficient and higher wear resistance in such a state that the flexibility is held by tetrafluoroethylene resin excellent in lubrication.
