PURPOSE: To simplify connecting work to connect an interior electric installation to an electric power source line by carrying out connecting work using a terminal block having a rod terminal insertion part and a connector provided with a rod terminal, plug blade insertion part.

CONSTITUTION: An electric power source line 1 is connected with a terminal block 2 and a rod terminal 6 of a connector 5 is inserted into a rod terminal insertion part 3 of the block 2. A plug 4 of an interior electric installation is inserted into a plug blade insertion part 7 of the connector 5. By the method using the terminal block, the connecting work to connect an interior electric installation to the electric power source line can be remarkably simplified while the following works are made unnecessary: an electrician pulls the electric power source line out of a wall: an interior electric installation installer sets the interior electric installation at a prescribed position and pulls the electric power source line in: and again the electrician sets an electric outlet in the electric installation, pulls the electric power source line in the installation, and connects the electric power source line with the outlet.
