To provide a small-sized electric wire excessive length absorption device and to make it action smooth.

The electric wire excessive length absorption device 25 is provided with a case 26 for accommodating a wire harness 27; a movable electric wire guide member 32 at a movable side elastically urged; an electric wire guide member 33 at a stationary side arranged at an opposite direction of urging against the electric wire guide member 32; and a cover 38. In the device, the wire harness is introduced from one opening 39 into a case and is folded back along the electric wire guide member 32. The wire harness is further bent along the electric wire guide member 33 and is led out from the other opening 35. The electric wire guide member at a stationary side may have a small diameter. Both electric wire guide members have curved surface 32a, 33a laid with the wire harness. The wire harness 27 is led out to a direction approaching to one opening 39 along the electric wire guide member 33. An electric wire direction restriction part may be provided on a case and/or a cover 38 continued to the opening 35.
