To reduce the weight and size of a brushless motor used for a power source of an electric work machine.SOLUTION: An electric work machine includes: a brushless motor having a rotor having a rotor core and a permanent magnet fixed to the rotor core, and a stator having a stator core, an insulator fixed to the stator core, and a coil attached to the insulator; a magnetic sensor for detecting magnetic fluxes of the permanent magnet and detecting a position in a rotation direction of the rotor; a controller for controlling the coil energized on the basis of a detection signal of the magnetic sensor; and an output part driven by the rotor.
