To drive an electric work machine appropriately.SOLUTION: An electric work machine 1 includes: a motor 12 having a stator, a rotor that rotates relative to the stator, and a rotor shaft 29 fixed to the rotor; an output unit to be driven by the rotor shaft; a motor case 13 having an outer surface on which a plurality of heat-radiating fins 61 is provided and accommodating the stator and the rotor; a cooling fan 20 located outside the motor case and rotated by the rotor shaft; and a duct member 80 having a guide portion 85 to guide air from the cooling fan to a fin passage 65 between mutually adjacent heat-radiating fins.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
