Title:
ELECTRICAL AIR HEATER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH02192542
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable an automatic and continuous heating at a high temperature to be performed only when a person enters a toilet room by a method wherein when an infra-red ray sensor senses a human body temperature, a fan heater is operated irrespective of an operation of a thermostat.

CONSTITUTION: Am variable thermostat 6 for use in adjusting temperature is mounted at a side of a power supply switch 5 of a case 1. In case that a tap water pipe under a cold weather is prevented from being freezed, a knob 7 is set at a low position (about 5 to 10°C) to keep a temperature of a toilet room under an intermittent operation. At this time, even if the operation is stopped through a thermostat 6, an infra-red ray sensor 8 may detect an infra- red ray generated from a body of a human 11 in simultaneous with an entering of the person 11 into the toilet room. A heater unit 2 and a fan motor 3 are operated prior to an operation of a thermostat so as to discharge hot air continuously.
