Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To feed a cable while dealing with the outer diameter thereof quickly by varying the interval of a pair of feed rollers turning while clamping the cable.
SOLUTION: A base 1 is secured firmly by means of a rope coupled with a post driven into the ground and then a motor M is conducted. Consequently, chain gears G, G are turned by means of a chain 4 thus turning the shafts 3A, 3B and a pair of feed rollers 7, 7 with predetermined torque in reverse directions at a low speed of 10-20r.p.m. When the starting end of a cable is fed between the rollers 7, 7 from the biting rotation side, the rollers 7, 7 are fitted well to the cable through resiliency thereof and bent while resisting against the inner pressure thus feeding the cable Ca in the direction connecting the cable guide members 10, 10. Consequently, the cable Ca can be fed stable without deviating from between the rollers 7, 7 unnecessarily while dealing with the outer diameter thereof quickly.
