Abstract:
PURPOSE: To dispense with a manual operation, and to enable automatic electrical connection by connecting an electrical connection means, only after a storage unit is positioned at a specified place of a platform in loading the storage unit.
CONSTITUTION: When a storage unit 1 is loaded on a transportation bed 2, a time-delay piston 8 is first started and elevated, and a feed passage 18 opened to an inlet 16 is at a position facing opposite an outlet 17. A compressed liquid 13 in a chamber 12 is poured in a chamber of a positioning means 6, and a female connector 5 is moved by a hydraulic jack, until it is brought into contact with a male connector 4. When the storage unit 1 is unloaded, the time-delay piston 8 is started and lowered by the action of a tensile spring 14, and the feed passage 18 is at the position opposite to the inlet 16 from the outlet 17. The liquid 13 in the chamber of the positioning means 6 is sucked into the chamber 12 by the negative pressure in the chamber 12. As a result, a piston 19 of the positioning means 6 returns to the initial position, and the connectors 4, 5 is disconnected of electrical connection.
