Abstract:

To provide an electrical connector capable of maintaining good contact reliability of contacts and good transmission characteristics of signals transmitted through the contacts with a low-profile configuration.SOLUTION: A plug connector 5 includes a plug-side housing 60 and a plug-side contact 70 attached to the plug-side housing 60. The plug-side contact 70 has a terminal connection portion 72 that extends downward and bends to one side in the horizontal direction while being folded back upward. A tip of the portion folded upward of the terminal connection portion 72 is configured to come into contact with a mating terminal portion of a mating connector in a state in which the plug-side housing 60 is completely mated with the mating connector.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
