Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a protective device of an electrical connector and its manufacture so that this connector is easily mounted and is excellent in responsiveness in a simple structure.
CONSTITUTION: A protective device of an electrical connector 12 includes at least one signal contact in an insulating housing, at least a part of which is covered with a shield member. First contacts 50 and 56 connected to a signal contact 18, a second contact 68 connected to the shield member, and a housing 14 holding the first contacts 50 and 56 and the second contact 68 at uniform intervals protect the signal, contact 18 from a high voltage.
