To provide a connector used for transmitting electrical information while connected to at least two counterpart connectors.
The electrical connector includes an insulative housing, a first conductive terminal module, a second conductive terminal module, and two positioning parts. The housing has a body having an upper insertion part and a lower insertion part. The body has a first face and a second face opposite to the first face. The insertion parts extend from the first face in a direction away from the second face. The insertion part on the lower half of the body includes a first set of conductive terminals, the insertion part on the upper half includes a second set of conductive terminals, and each conductive terminal has a first contact and a second contact. The body has a plurality of first projections at a lower position on the second face and the first projections divide and position the second contacts of the first set of conductive terminals individually. The connector is designed by a stacked type and does not increase the area of the circuit board.
