Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an electrical insulating coating film excellent in scuff resistance and heat resistance.
CONSTITUTION: A blend comprising (1) a hydrolyzate of an alkoxysilane, (2) an alicyclic epoxy resin capable of ring opening polymn. by the catalytic action of silanol groups contained in the hydrolyzate or reactive with the silanol groups, and (3) an epoxy resin having at least 2 epoxy groups is applied on a base material and then dried to obtain an electrical insulating coating film.
